RATE RIDER LEADS FOR FEBRUARY 2009
Each month, eSolutions assembles the most recent adjustable rate rider leads for California and delivers the source data to the customer service departments of many LandAmerica brands. VOLUME DROP IN FORECLOSURES
Due to the enaction of California Senate Bill 1137, foreclosure notices dropped dramatically this past month. The new law requires lenders, loan servicers, and/or their agents to "prove they have attempted to communicate directly with delinquent borrowers about their financial situation". This has resulted in lenders and trustees significantly re-tooling their recording processes. These reductions are expected to continue during the transition to the new recording requirements, but will likely be temporary. More info on this bill is available here.

SMARTROUTE FOR REALEC CUSTOMERS
SmartRoute, the eSolutions routing engine used by employees to improve their RealEC order processing, is now available to customers. While RealEC sends e-mail notifications to users who place orders, it cannot selectively send notifications to specific users. As a result, many users receive multiple e-mail notifications that are not intended for them. However, by using SmartRoute, these customers can now eliminate unnecessary RealEC e-mails, add assistants to their notifications list, and direct RealEC e-mails to just the users involved in the transaction.
